This Milwaukee Road F-3 "B"-unit was manufactured by Lionel in 1975. It is the complimenting, non-powered "center" unit for the 8555/8557, from the Milwaukee Road Service Station Set of that same year, and it is difficult to find now separate from it's "AA" matching pair. It features self-centering couplers, and die-cast trucks and wheels. This diesel is in "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed"). It was issued in a red Lionel windowed box. That box comes with this diesel and is Like New condition, with some yellowing commensurate with age the only flaw of any significance; and contains all of the original paper work.
