This Southern Pacific "Madison" style passenger car was manufactured by Lionel in 1993. Part of a 4-car set, these cars were "instant-sellouts" as "West Coast" versions of the Irvington series of postwar passenger cars (#2625-28) made between 1946-50. This "Arcata Bay" passenger Car features six-wheel die-cast trucks, with magnetic operating knuckle couplers, illuminated interiors and spring-loaded opening vestibule doors. It is in "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed"). Hard to find individually, here's your chance to add an additional or replacement car to your consist. It was issued in an orange & blue Lionel box. That box, in Mint condition, as well as all of the original paperwork, come with the car.
