This pair of Reading MU (Multiple Unit) Non-Powered Commuter Cars was manufactured by Lionel in 2001. They were made to compliment the powered and dummy pair (#18331) made the prior year. The units carry road numbers "9111" and "9112". The pair will run on regular "O" gauge track and features illuminated interiors, passenger silhouettes in the windows, separate metal chains at both ends, die-cast trucks, die-cast Command Control Electro-couplers & directional headlights in both units, metal wheels and axles, and stamped metal pantographs (that can be wired to supply power to the units). This pair is in absolutely "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed")! They were issued in an orange & blue Lionel box with the units secured in a styrofoam "casket" with inter-locking lid. The box is also in Mint condition. All of the associated paperwork, including the multi-page operator's manual, come with the units.
