This pair of Lackawanna MU (Multiple Unit) Non-Powered Commuter Cars was manufactured by Lionel in 1992. They were made as companion cars to the #18304 Lackawanna MU Powered and Dummy made the year before. The road numbers are "2402" & "2403". The set will ride on regular "O" gauge track and features illuminated interiors, passenger silhouettes in the windows, separate metal chains at both ends, die-cast trucks, operating die-cast knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles, directional headlights in both units, and stamped metal pantographs. This pair has never been on the track or displayed, and there are no wheel marks. The units are absolutely "factory fresh"! They were issued in an orange & blue Lionel box with the units secured inside that box in a styrofoam "casket" with inter-locking lid. The box is also in Mint/Factory Fresh condition. All of the associated paperwork, including the 4 page operator's manual, come with the units.
