This Erie Lackawanna Alco PA-1 Diesel pair (#18116) was manufactured by Lionel 1993. It features an Alco PA-1 diesel pair in the "AA" configuration (powered and dummy). The power unit features two powerful Lionel Pullmor Direct motors, transformer controlled forward-neutral-reverse operation, Railsounds with volume control, constant voltage lighting system, eight-wheel drive on the powered unit with traction tires, die cast operating and non-operating knuckle couplers, operating mars light, opening cab doors, engineer figure, fan detail, metal grilles, die-cast metal and stamped metal frame with die-cast metal trucks. This pair is in absolutely "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed")! They were issued in an orange & blue Lionel box with the units secured in a styrofoam "casket" with inter-locking lid. The box is also in Mint condition. All of the associated paperwork, including the multi-page operator's manual, come with the units.
