This Central New Jersey (CNJ) 4-6-0 Camelback locomotive, road number “771”, was manufactured by Lionel in 1999. It features a powerful maintenance-free motor with flywheel, Command Control, puffing smoke generator (in synch with drivers), die-cast metal Electro-coupler (rear of tender), RailSounds with CrewTalk and TowerCom, brilliant headlight, tender back-up light, directional lighting, illuminated classification lights, traction tires and glowing firebox. All aspects of the condition of this locomotive & tender pair are “Factory Fresh” except for the wheels and rollers that show the slightest hint of use. Much too good to call “Like New”, the wheel marks prevent us from grading it as “Mint”. All electronics were tested “OK” (using alligator clips vs. running the pair on a track). The pair came in packed in a styrofoam case with lid, inside of an Orange & Blue Lionel box, that is included and in “Mint” condition. All of the original paperwork, including the 24-page Operators Manual is also included.
