This Pennsylvania RR B6 Switcher locomotive & tender was manufactured by Lionel in 1989. It was one of the first of what would become many "better than original" re-issues of classics of the 30's-50's, in this case a re-make of the 227/701 from 1939. This scale locomotive features a powerful Pullmor motor, complete die-cast metal construction, spoked drivers, opening boiler front, operating headlight, metal hand rails on the engine & tender, operating back-up light on the tender, jeweled marker lights, operating knuckle coupler on the engine front and tender rear, Railsounds and smoke. This locomotive and tender are in "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed"); new “old” stock. The diesel was issued in an orange & blue Lionel box. That box comes with this diesel and is also in crisp, factory fresh Mint condition. All of the original paperwork is included.
