This B&O Freight set was manufactured by Lionel in 1986. It is headed by a B&O GP-7 diesel featuring dual maintenance-free can motors and eight-wheel drive, electronic forward-neutral-reverse control (no annoying "buzz"), dual operating headlights, operating magnetic couplers at both ends, and metal chassis, handrails, wheels and axles. All of the rolling stock run on Symington-Wayne trucks, with metal wheels and axles and an operating magnetic couplers at one end. The set is sold in its factory set box, in like new condition with some yellowing due to age as the only flaw of any significance. The diesel and each car in the set are individually boxed (within the set box) and each within this sealed set is in "factory fresh" condition (i.e. "Mint", "brand new", "never been on the tracks or displayed").
